Dream Date: 7/8/2020
In a dream I saw famous actor Brad Pitt sharing his faith in Christ to others in his Hollywood circles. Unfortunately, it did not go so well. In the scene, he stood surrounded by many Hollywood moguls, as if attending a trial. While defending his new faith, he began to receive death threats and blackmail from them.

As I watched with great intent, he mustered the courage to double down on his stance and said: “Only Jesus is Lord and I am ready to die for the truth.” In my astonishment, I could not help but acknowledge the witness in my spirit that he was not only sincere, but that he had counted the cost to follow the Lord. As I was left pondering this in my heart, I woke up from the dream.
Almost immediately after opening my eyes from the dream, the Holy Spirit brought the following verse to my mind: “Because of this, I tell you that her sins – which are many! – have been forgiven because she loved much. But someone who has been forgiven only a little, loves only a little.” (Luke 7:47)
As I laid in bed, pondering on all of this, here is what was impressed on my heart: I believe Brad Pitt, like many others, is in a fight for his life. He is coming to the realization that faith in Christ Jesus is the only way to heaven and is being confronted with the choice of eternal life by losing his earthly life, versus saving it. The death threats and blackmail menace could be real, as he is one of Hollywood’s main protagonists.
Life in Hollywood, as you already know is filled with sin and darkness. And for Brad Pitt and many of these whom the Lord is calling back home, the cost of following Jesus may be losing their own lives (Luke 14:28-30). Would we stand up and prophesy life (zōḗ) to this man? That he may come to believe that indeed, “Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.” (Luke 17:33)
I believe those in Hollywood who will be coming into the Kingdom of God will be forgiven so much that they will be filled with a love so great that will make them fearless in the face of blackmail and death threats. My prayer is that their display of boldness and courage will challenge the church to renounce the spirit of fear that has paralyzed us for so long. Let's keep watch and pray for Brad Pitt and that the Lord continues to sound the alarm in Hollywood, as the time is short.
P.S. I do not follow Hollywood news or celebrities in general, nor am I interested in doing so. Therefore, none of what I saw in this dream could be tainted by personal bias.
Blessings,
Ulrich
